SidAgri Nursery at Ghazi Interchange

SidAgri manages a chain of nurseries, which have large reservoirs of plants of various varieties. The largest SidAgri nursery is located 1 km off Ghazi Interchange on M-1 in District Attock. This state of the art nursery has over a million plants in stock.


The SidAgri Nurseries is the largest nursery system in Pakistan which can produce up to 5 million plants per year, including large numbers of fruit, decorative and forest varieties.

SidAgri launches a Model Farm

SidAgri launched a Model Farm in Malak Mala village of Attock District with following highlights: plantation of industrial trees; a reservoir of large sized ornamental plants; tunnel farming; and traditional crops through paradoxical agriculture method.


This model farm will be used to train the farmers who are interested in adopting new techniques to enhance their income.

SidAgri launches two Warehouses

SidAgri (Pvt.) Limited has launched two warehouses at its campus for own use as well as for renting out to clients. These modern warehouses are insulated for better protection of stored cargo. They will be used to store agriculture inputs such as pesticides and fertilizers and agricultural produce such as maize, peanuts and cottonseed cake etc.

SidAgri's Consultancy Projects

SidAgri team has successfully completed three consultancy projects for the Government of the Punjab. The projects, allocated after three separate competitive bids, were as following:

1. Third Party Validation (TPV) of project "Empowerment of Kissan through Digital and Financial Inclusion"

2. Third Party Validation (TPV) Report for project "Improving Productivity and Fertility in Small & Large Ruminants through Encouragement of Bull Keeping for Natural Mating."

3. Third Party Validation (TPV) Report for project "Poverty Alleviation of Poor Women through Provision of Heifer & Sheep/Goats in Punjab."

All the projects, with multi-billion Rupee allocations, were considered as the flagship initiatives for poverty alleviation in the Punjab.

SidAgri ventures into Precision Agriculture

As part of our Precision Agriculture Project, the data on health of associated farms  and nurseries was recently collected by a drone equipped with infrared cameras. The data and pictures it gathered provided precise information about pest attacks and the need for nutrients and fertilizers. The Precision Agriculture Services are available for hire from SidAgri.

Italian professors and BARI olive experts visit SidAgri olive nursery to train the staff

University of Florence's Professor Stefano Biricolti and Aleandro Ottaneili visited SidAgri olive nursery to instruct the staff on maintenance of mother plants and propagation of nursery. The Director General of Barani Agriculture Research Institute (BARI) Chakwal, Dr.Mohammad Tariq accompanied by several olive experts were also part of this training visit.

Seasonal Sale of Various Varieties of Orange Plants Started

SidAgri Nurseries have started the sale of orange plants for Spring plantation. The nursery is prepared from our own orchards with proven quality and productivity. The varieties available are Blood Red, Blood Seedless, Salustiana and Shikri. Legally binding true to type guarantees are provided to buyers. 

Various other fruit plants, 6 olive varieties and several ornamental plants are also on sale. SidAgri stocks more than 200 different types of plants.

Clients are encouraged to visit the nursery/farm to observe the best practices adopted by SidAgri.

Lawrencepur Cold Stores gearing up to store up to 4,500 tonnes of Potatoes this Season

Lawrencepur Cold Stores is gearing up to store up to 4,500 tonnes of potatoes this season. Potato sacks have started arriving and would continue to pour in till end of April. Potato storage is the second largest revenue earner of the Lawrencepur Cold Stores, after apples.

Cold Storage of Kinnow

SidAgri's Lawrencepur Cold Stores is offering space for storage of up to 100,000 crates of kinnow. The CEO of SidAgri (Private) Limited recently paid a marketing visit to Sargodha District to meet kinnow traders and owners of waxing and packaging units. The feed back has been promising  and it's expected that the entire allocated space for the cold storage of kinnows will be taken by the end of February 2020.

SidAgri Conducts Training on Dairy Chain Management

SidAgri conducted a USAID funded training program for dairy product managers of multinationals such as Nestle and farmers who sold milk to these major processors and distributors.. The course was also focused on training in management of organic dairy farming.

SidAgri Conducts Training in Water Management for Farmers from Gomal Zam Area in KPK

USAID funded a training program conducted by SidAgri for farmers whose lands will be irrigated from Gomal Zam Dam - an irrigation project funded by the US Government. The farmers paid visits to farms managed by SidAgri that uses drip irrigation. They also attended several sessions in the classroom to study the theory of water management. A specially prepared manual was distributed amongst the trainee farmers as reference material.

SidAgri Train First Batch of Farmers from KPK in Drip Irrigation

US Agency for International Development (USAID) funded a SidAgri training program in drip irrigation for farmers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province. Drip irrigation is considered as one of the main solutions to address Pakistan's growing challenge of water scarcity. SidAgri specializes in modern irrigation management techniques.
